The College of Agriculture – University of Tikrit was established in the academic year 1993–1994, initially comprising only two scientific departments: the Department of Plant Production and the Department of Animal Production. Later, central admission to the Department of Plant Production was suspended as the college shifted its focus toward specialization in various agricultural sciences. Subsequently, several departments were established, including Food Science, Field Crops, Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Soil and Water Resources, Agricultural Economics and Extension, Plant Protection, and Agricultural Machinery and Equipment.

I extend my warmest welcome to all faculty members and students visiting our college’s official website, which strives to provide academic and scientific information as well as updates on the activities of our college. Our teaching, administrative, and student staff are committed to developing and re-operating agricultural laboratories and facilities. We pray to Almighty God for success for ourselves and for you, in order to advance the academic level of our university in particular and of Iraq in general.
