Division of Planning and Statistics
The Division of Planning and Statistics is directly linked to the Dean, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, as well as to the Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency. It is considered one of the important divisions in the College due to the essential tasks it performs in support of both faculty members and students.

Preparing the annual plan of seminars, workshops, training courses, conferences, and all student activities for the academic year, through a comprehensive schedule that includes: the department, type of activity, title of the activity, date of implementation, and venue (in-person or online).

Preparing and organizing brochures for activities and notifying the lecturers involved to ensure their full readiness and contribution of ideas.

Preparing the University Statistical Data in January or February of each year, which includes tables on undergraduate and postgraduate studies, faculty members, staff, buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and all aspects related to the College. After completing these tables, they are sealed by the Division and approved by the Dean of the College.

Preparing the Annual Statistical Report tables at the end of each academic year (July or August), which consist of approximately 22 detailed tables covering: undergraduate and postgraduate studies, faculty and staff, completed and planned research projects, student sports and artistic activities, conferences, seminars, and more.

Responding to the quarterly activity reports every three months, covering multiple areas including administrative, legal, academic, student-related, engineering, and technical activities.

Preparing the monthly governmental program report (newly introduced), which records the College’s activities at the beginning of each month.

Responding regularly to statistical requests and forms issued by the Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency that concern the College.

Updating the electronic database through the online statistical system portal, which includes all faculty members and staff (permanent, contractual, and daily-wage employees).

Completing and submitting graduate student data through the newly introduced electronic portal, which will be adopted annually in each academic year.

Preparing and submitting the operational status report required by the Ministry of Planning, which covers all faculty and staff from the permanent staff only.
Studies and Planning Unit
Within the Division of Planning and Statistics, the Studies and Planning Unit is responsible for conducting the necessary studies and research to support strategic planning and institutional development. This unit collects and analyzes data and information, providing recommendations that assist senior management in making informed decisions and achieving institutional goals.
Statistics Unit
Within the Division of Planning and Statistics, the Statistics Unit specializes in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data related to the various aspects of the institution’s work. The aim of this unit is to provide accurate and reliable information to support planning, decision-making, and performance evaluation.
Follow-up Unit
Within the Division of Planning and Statistics, the Follow-up Unit plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of approved plans, programs, and projects within the specified timeframes. This unit functions as the “watchful eye” of the institution, monitoring workflow, identifying deviations, and providing the necessary recommendations for corrective action.
