Duties and Authorities of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs
The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs exercises the following powers:
First: Administrative Authorities

Assigning and coordinating the work of employees and technicians across all divisions of the college according to work requirements, and distributing tasks among divisions in a manner that serves the interests and needs of the college.

Issuing orders related to appointment, secondment, retirement, and resignation.

Approving ordinary leave requests for technicians, administrators, and contractors working in the college, both inside and outside Iraq.

Approving promotions for the college’s administrative and technical staff.

Approving the assignment of college employees to perform additional university-related tasks.

Approving medical reports issued inside or outside Iraq for all college staff, provided that such reports comply with the provisions of the Sick Leave Law No. (76) of 1959 and its amendments.

Implementing necessary transfers within the administrative staff of the college in coordination with the Dean’s Office and heads of scientific departments, in accordance with public interest.

Signing orders related to granting ordinary leave, summer vacations, and legally prescribed retirement benefits for staff members.

Signing annual salary increment and promotion forms for administrative and technical staff.

Granting maternity leave to all female staff members in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Second: Financial Authorities

Approving the referral of bills and extensions in accordance with the decisions of specialized committees and in line with the General Conditions of Contracting and prevailing laws and regulations.

Authorizing the distribution of necessary financial allocations among scientific departments, in coordination with the heads of departments.

Approving the granting of professional and engineering allowances, hazard pay, risk allowances, and other approved benefits according to laws and regulations.

Recommending the referral of staff to disciplinary investigation in accordance with the Civil Service Discipline Law.

Proposing the issuance of dismissal decisions for students exceeding the permitted absence percentage, in accordance with applicable regulations, subject to the approval of the College Council.

Approving and disbursing travel advances for teaching staff, technicians, and administrators within Iraq for periods required to accomplish assigned tasks.

Issuing administrative orders related to student warnings, failure due to excessive absences, or violations of rules and regulations.

Issuing administrative orders authorizing lectures to be delivered by staff or external lecturers (in coordination with the Dean’s Office), opening and reviewing records or forms related to these orders, and ensuring payment processing through the section secretary in coordination with the financial department of the college.
تأريخنا
تاسست جامعة تكريت سنة 1987 عند تأسيس السلطة التشريعية لكلية التربية للبنات، بالاضافة الى كلية الطب والهندسة، وتعد أول جامعة في الجزء الشمالي الغربي من العراق، وهذه الكليات الثلاث كانت كأنموذج لمؤسسات التعليم المستقبلية تحت نظام التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي المشرع سنة 1970. توسعت الجامعة وفتحت فيها كليات اخر بدءاً بكلية التربية المختلطة وانتهاءً بكلية التربية التي انشطرت الى شطرين وأصبحت كلية التربية للعلوم الانسانية والعلوم الصرفة سنة 2013، فأصبحت الجامعة تضم مجموعة من الكليات المختلفة.
