Division of Scientific Affairs
The Division of Scientific Affairs is responsible for preparing the College’s annual research plan in cooperation with the teaching staff, as well as organizing scientific conferences, symposia, and workshops. In addition, the Division follows up on pioneering research projects conducted by faculty members and external researchers affiliated with the College, and monitors the implementation of the College’s research plan.

Coordinating research activities with other state institutions in ways that serve the community and the national economy.

Following up on faculty study leave requests and no-objection letters.

Managing and organizing scientific and cultural conferences and symposia at the College.

Archiving all matters related to academic affairs and academic titles of faculty members.

Organizing forms for academic promotion, completed and published research.

Cooperating with state institutions in the marketing of scientific outputs.

Following up on the affairs of faculty members on scholarships or study leave abroad.

Following up on faculty deputations and assignments inside and outside Iraq.
Computers and Internet Unit
Within the Division of Scientific Affairs at the College, the Computers and Internet Unit is a core technical support entity. Its primary role is to provide, maintain, and develop the technological infrastructure required for educational, research, and administrative operations under the Division’s responsibility.
Academic Promotions Unit
Within the Division of Scientific Affairs at the College, the Academic Promotions Unit is a central and essential entity responsible for managing, organizing, and monitoring all procedures related to the promotion of faculty members to higher academic ranks (Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor). The Unit ensures that promotion processes are carried out in accordance with the regulations and laws of the University and the Ministry, with full transparency and fairness.
Scientific Research Unit
Within the Division of Scientific Affairs at the College, the Scientific Research Unit is a vital entity dedicated to strengthening and advancing the research activities of faculty members, researchers, and students. The Unit provides the necessary support and facilities for conducting and publishing research, and contributes to fostering a stimulating research environment within the College.
